There’s plenty to be excited about in Mt Barker, with Wallis Entertainment (formerly Wallis Cinemas) sharing new concept images for their upcoming entertainment precinct — and it’s set to bring a whole new level of fun to the Hills.
The transformation of the much-loved local cinema is already in the works, and these newly released designs give us a closer look at what’s planned — and what families, visitors and locals can look forward to in the years ahead.
Here’s what’s coming:
- Eight lanes of Duckpin Bowling
- Two 9-hole Crazy Mini Golf courses
- Laser Tag and 16 Arcade Games
- A new food and beverage area
- Live performance space added to Cinema Two
- A rooftop function venue seating 300+, with views over Mt Barker
- A 100-room, 4-star hotel to support local tourism, events and weddings
The cinema and function space are planned for completion in late 2026, with the hotel expected to follow in 2027.
