Aston Hills: Looking Back on 2025 — And Ahead to an Exciting 2026

As another big year at Aston Hills comes to a close, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on everything our community has achieved in 2025. From welcoming hundreds of new neighbours to celebrating milestones across our neighbourhood, it’s been a year full of growth, connection and plenty to look forward to.

Here’s a wrap-up of the year that was — and a sneak peek at what’s coming next.

This year, Aston Hills continued to grow with 460 new residents joining us across our Maplewood and Pine Valley precincts. We’re thrilled to be welcoming so many new families and friendly faces into the community.

Our new entry from Springs Road is officially complete, with landscaping and a welcoming entry statement now in place — making that first glimpse of home feel even more special.

In April, we launched our new brand and website, complete with our much-loved interactive masterplan. What’s your favourite feature?

From delicious pizzas to hearty pastas, schnitzels and takeaway favourites, La Romana Pizza Bar has quickly become a local staple. We’re thrilled to have them as part of our neighbourhood dining scene.

This year the Aston Hills Golf Club began serving lunch Tuesday–Sunday, and dinner every Friday. Don’t forget — the Clubhouse is open to members of the public and all Aston Hills residents receive exclusive discounts with a Social Membership! Find out more here.

Aston Hills continued to host a range of school holiday activities in 2025 including our mountain bike and golf clinics throughout the year. A huge thanks to Head for the Hills Cycling and the Aston Hills Golf Club for keeping our young residents active and outdoors!

Just an easy 1km scenic walk from Aston Hills, the brand-new Summit Aquatic and Leisure Centre opened in 2025, offering:

• Hydrotherapy pool
• Learn-to-swim pool
• 25m lap pool
• Children’s party area
• A health club with gym and pilates

It’s a huge win for health, fitness and family fun at Aston Hills!

The Aston Hills community descended on Drakes at the Aston Hills Shopping Centre for free face painting this Halloween! The centre came alive with costumes — we loved seeing so many families get involved.

Our newest café, Misk, opened its doors at the Aston Hills Shopping Centre with a menu full of classics — from eggs benedict to salt and pepper squid, pancakes, burgers, a great kids menu and of course… excellent coffee.

Each month this year we’ve celebrated the incredible Landscaping Legends in our community — recognising the residents who help keep Aston Hills looking beautiful! We look forward to celebrating more of our gardening gurus in 2026 - a $250 EFTPOS gift card is up for grabs every month, and entries can be sent to: customercare@lanser.com.au

From Dumpling Markets to their Christmas Market, David, Ebony and their team at Wok the Duck brought serious festive cheer to the community in 2025. Their community spirit — and their food! — is always a highlight at Aston Hills.

We're thrilled to share that our Maplewood Wetlands received a Master Landscapers SA Award for commercial construction this year! Congratulations to the Green Inc team for bringing this beautiful local gem to life and making it such a fun place for families to explore at Aston Hills.

To finish the year with some festive cheer, Santa is visiting the Aston Hills Shopping Centre on 19–20 December for free family photos — no bookings needed. Find out more here!

With so much already happening at Aston Hills, 2026 is shaping up to be another exciting year.

We’ll be launching new Lanser Living collections at Aston Hills in 2026 including the Ivy Collection, more Archer and Addison homes, plus brand-new terrace designs. In 2026, we’ll be delivering 4 hectares of new reserve in Pine Valley and 1 hectare of new green space in Maplewood. These new green spaces will offer even more room to play, explore and relax!

Korean fried chicken lovers rejoice — Oh! K-Chicken will soon open at the Aston Hills Shopping Centre, offering crispy, juicy, freshly cooked favourites for dine-in or takeaway.

We’ll also be announcing a brand-new addition to the Shopping Centre early in the new year - stay tuned!

A new entrance to our Maplewood precinct from the intersection of Paech Road and Aston Parade will be completed, improving access for the whole community!

It goes without saying that more land will be released across Pine Valley and Maplewood as we continue to grow our community in 2026!
